We have sat down and talked to our children, about what is appropriate, and what is not for their age. They might find inappropriate material while surfing. If so, click the back button or call us. They have been told to... Never give out your (or our) name, address or phone number. If at anytime you feel uncomfortable, get us!

We don't allow them to have a computer in their bedrooms. We have a computer set up for the family to use, in the family room for this purpose. An adult must be around when they are surfing.

We take the time to monitor their activities on-line. You don't have to be perched on their shoulder the whole time, but you do have to be aware! Remember, a very quiet child is one often getting into trouble! Fortunately our children do know the difference from right and wrong.

We remember that we are good and involved parents to our kids. We rely on the fact that the way we have brought them up, will help them make good choices, both with the Internet and in the rest of life. We know by caring for them, spending time with them, communicating with them and making sure they know we care, is, in the end, the best defense for the many problems life can bring their way!
