New and VERY Improved Personals Are On The Way!

Yes, the new software is in place and alpha testing is underway. Next week we will go live with it in a beta version for everyone to test out. While any information you enter will survive to the final version, the look and feel, the user interface, and some features will no doubt change as both testing and integration with the rest of the new version of Adult Communities Online takes place. Our old personals software was never intended to handle the traffic it received, and as many of you know it finely broke and broke hard. Instead of putting a big band-aid on it, we decided to just replace it with better software that could handle the traffic. Just as importantly it will have the features that everyone's been requesting and still others we feel will make connecting that much easier and enjoyable.

Here are a few of the new features...

• You can now register giving you the ability to protect your username and allow you to go back and edit your profile, including deleting it if you desire.


• Comprehensive profiles that let you tell more about yourself or learn about others.


• Extensive search abilities that will make finding that perfect match very easy including using your zip code to find those close to you.


• Multiple (and larger) pictures can now be included with your profile.


• A match finder that will notify you of new profiles that match criteria you specify.


• Buddy lists to keep track of those you find interesting.


• Immediate connections, as now you will be able to see who is online, read their profile and if you like Instant Message them or chat with them in the new dedicated personals chat room.


• Lots of privacy features that for example will protect your email address, block those you don't want to contact you, and more.


• Lots more as you will soon see!
